Kandra Lovato is a Colorado native. She is married with two children and has lived in Monument since '93.
She is proud to call Monument home and excited to be able to take care of its many wonderful and energetic citizens.
Katya first fell in love with Take Charge PT after shadowing Kandra prior to PT school. After graduation, she came back to Take Charge because her treatment philosophy strongly aligns with Kandra’s philosophy of providing individualized treatment approach that focuses on a person as a “whole” and not just as a body part or a diagnosis. Preventative medicine is the future of physical therapy, and she feels grateful for the opportunity to provide these services at Take Charge PT without being restricted by the insurance companies. Being from Denver, Katya enjoys Monument’s small-town community and friendly patients. She received her Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree from the University of Colorado Anschutz and is Dry Needling certified. Katya is passionate about continuing her education and is planning on becoming certified in vestibular, scoliosis, and pelvic health rehabilitation. She enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking with her dogs, skiing, kayaking, rollerblading, and gardening. Katya looks forward to getting to know you and empowering you to take charge of your health.
